Family owned and operated since 1918, our mission is to safeguard jobsites with quality and innovative solutions with a commitment to products made in the USA that provide ease of use and longevity in the field.Available Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (M – F)General Purpose: Responsible for preparing outbound products for shipment including coordination of outside carriers.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProcess shipments into Epicor ERP system throughout the day. Ensure that required packing list, certificates, commercial invoices or other documents are prepared and are included with shipment.Print out Sales Order picklists and accurately pull corresponding product and quantities.Responsible for preparation of product (cartons, packing material & palletization) for outbound shipment to ensure safe arrival at destination.Contact and select carriers to schedule level of service as applicable to ensure safe arrival of product at destination using negotiated transportation contract rates. (LTL, UPS, FedEx)Work with production leaders to pull material into packaging/shipping in order to help drive on-time shipments.Communicate with Sales and Production and related support areas as needed.Receive cross-training in other shipping/warehouse areas and perform those duties as needed (example: Cycle Counting).Practice good housekeeping and safety fundamentals keeping aisles and electrical panels clear and inventory well organized to facilitate efficient order pulling and inventory accuracy.Load and unload trucks as needed. Ensure all scheduled pickups are completed and secure building at end of day.Operate various equipment, such as pallet jack, reach truck, and tow motor, etc.Assist with Receiving when needed.Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications, Education and CertificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum of two years’ experience in shipping / warehousing operations required.Strong work ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Must have a good attention to detail.Entrepreneurial nature: self-directed, goal-oriented, customer focused.Experience with carrier web portals and LTL freight shippingrequired.Experience with international shipments.Proficient in MS Office.Tow motor experience required.Physical RequirementsAbility to routinely lift & handle boxes weighing up to 60 lbs; most 20 lbs. or less.Use various material handling equipment as required.Ericson offers a competitive compensation and benefit program#J-18808-Ljbffr
