TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST

Job PurposeThe Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full-cycle recruitment for clinical and non-clinical roles across a multi-site healthcare organization. This role partners closely with hiring managers to source, screen, and hire qualified candidates while ensuring a high-quality candidate experience from application through onboarding. The Talent Acquisition Specialist supports recruitment pipeline development, hiring efficiency, and compliance with applicable hiring regulations.The ideal incumbent demonstrates strong recruiting judgment, proactive sourcing capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple requisitions with professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.Job ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Talent PipelineManage full-cycle recruitment for high-volume clinical and non-clinical positionsSource, screen, interview, and recommend candidates using multiple recruiting channelsDraft, post, and manage job advertisements to attract diverse and qualified talentBuild and maintain talent pipelines for hard-to-fill and recurring rolesDevelop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with organizational hiring needsPartner with hiring managers to clarify role requirements, align expectations, and move candidates efficiently through the recruitment processHiring Process & Onboarding SupportCoordinate interviews, candidate communications, and offer processesSupport employment clearance and onboarding activities including background checks, physicals, and documentationTrack applicants and requisitions accurately in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)Provide timely updates to hiring managers and internal stakeholders throughout the recruitment lifecycleCompliance & ReportingMaintain compliance with applicable employment laws, CMS, DOH, and organizational hiring requirementsEnsure recruitment documentation and requisition records are complete and audit-readyRepresent the organization at job fairs, recruitment events, and workforce outreach initiativesMaintain strict confidentiality regarding candidate and organizational information at all timesCollaboration & Customer ServiceDeliver a positive candidate and hiring manager experience through responsive communication and follow-throughCollaborate with HR colleagues and internal partners to support organizational staffing needsParticipate in recruitment-related projects and initiatives as assignedSchedule: 8:30AM – 5:30PMWeekly Hours: 40QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or a related field.Experience2+ years of full-cycle recruitment experienceExperience recruiting for healthcare roles, including clinical and/or non-clinical positionsStrong ability to assess candidate qualifications and hiring manager needsProficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday preferred)Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to work independently, manage multiple requisitions, and meet deadlinesHigh attention to detail, accuracy, and professional judgmentStrong computer skills, including Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to travel locally for recruitment events and job fairs as neededAdditional RequirementsMotivated, energetic, excellent organization and communication skills; conscientious attention to detail and accuracy; ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks; strong commitment to working as a team player. BilingualDirect experience recruiting licensed clinical roles (RN, LPN, CNA, Therapists, Physicians, etc.)Experience supporting multi-site or multi-entity organizationsFamiliarity with CMS/DOH hiring compliance and clearance processesExperience working with or managing staffing agency partnershipsPhysical RequirementsIndividuals must be able to sustain certain physical requirements essential to the job. This includes, but is not limited to:Standing – Duration of up to 6 hours a day.Sitting/Stationary Positions – Sedentary position in duration of up to 6-8 hours a day for consecutive hours/periods.Lifting/Push/Pull – Up to 50 pounds of equipment, baggage, supplies, and other items used in the scope of the job using OSHA guidelines, etc.Bending/Squatting – Have to be able to safely bend or squat to perform the essential functions under the scope of the job.Stairs/Steps/Walking/Climbing – Must be able to safely maneuver stairs, climb up/down, and walk to access work areas.Agility/Fine Motor Skills - Must demonstrate agility and fine motor skills to operate and activate equipment, devices, instruments, and tools to complete essential job functions (ie. typing, use of supplies, equipment, etc.)Sight/Visual Requirements – Must be able to visually read documentation, papers, orders, signs, etc., and type/write documentation, etc. with accuracy.Audio Hearing and Motor Skills (Language) Requirements – Must be able to listen attentively and document information from patients, community members, co-workers, clients, providers, etc., and intake information through audio processing with accuracy.
