Drop Crew Technician

Job Description Description:Socket is looking for hard-working, dependable individuals to join our Drop Crew Technician team. In this role, you'll assist installation technicians in preparing sites for fiber line installation. Technicians are based out of our Columbia Missouri location.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and optimize sites for fiber drop installationLoad, unload, and maintain tools and equipmentDig trenches and operate machinery such as a vibratory plowAssist with traffic control when working in public rights-of-wayKeep equipment clean and job sites organizedFollow all safety procedures and company standardsMaintain reliable attendance and a clean driving recordPerform other duties as assignedDesired Attributes:Strong time-management and teamwork skillsAttention to safety and detailFlexibility and a positive attitudeExperience Required:High School diploma or equivalent.Previous labor or construction experienceAbility to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 lbsComfortable working outdoors in all weather conditionsBasic knowledge of construction or utility work (preferred)Why work at Socket:Socket offers a culture where employee strengths are highlighted and recognized.
