HVAC Technician-Residential/Commercial (17319)
We are seeking an HVAC Residential/Commercial Technician to join its growing team. This role is designed for a reliable, hands-on technician with experience in residential and/or commercial service and installation. The position requires professionalism with customers and on job sites, strong troubleshooting ability, attention to safety, and the ability to install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial environments.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, service, repair, and maintain residential and commercial HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, rooftop units (RTUs), boilers, air handlers (AHUs), and related equipmentInstall HVAC systems, components, refrigerant lines, thermostats, controls, and ductwork in accordance with manufacturer specifications, project requirements, and applicable building codesTroubleshoot refrigeration, electrical, airflow, controls, and mechanical issues to restore safe and reliable system performanceConduct preventive maintenance including inspections, filter replacements, belt adjustments, coil cleaning, refrigerant checks, and system performance verification to support efficiency and reliabilityMaintain accurate digital records of service activities, repairs, materials used, and refrigerant handling in compliance with EPA standardsAdhere to OSHA safety standards and company protocols including proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and safe operation of ladders and liftsCommunicate professionally with customers, team members, and office personnel while representing the company on job sitesParticipate in ongoing training and advancement opportunitiesEnsure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding HVAC systemsAssist in the development of new processes and procedures to improve service efficiencyInstall new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential and commercial clientsReplace existing HVAC systems components as neededMount and connect compressors, condensers, and air handling unitsInstall electrical wiring and controls and test components to ensure proper operationInspect and test HVAC systems to ensure they meet safety and code requirementsPerform regular maintenance on HVAC systems, including cleaning ducts and filters, and checking for leaks and other potential issuesProvide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any concerns or questions they may havePrepare accurate records and reports of work performedEnsure all work is completed on time and within budgetMaintain a clean and safe work area, following all safety guidelines and proceduresRequirements1-2 yearsDriver LicenseAuthorized to work in USWeekdaysMorningDayA valid EPA Section 608 Universal Certification is required.BenefitsHealth InsurancePaid Time OffSalary: $31.00-$41.00 per hour
