As a Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen and front-of-house operations while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. *Duties* * Supervise and coordinate daily activities of kitchen staff and front-of-house team members to ensure efficient operations. * Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock to meet operational needs. * Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to foster a positive work environment and enhance their skills. * Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices. * Handle cash management responsibilities, including cash register operations and daily sales reconciliation. * Assist in menu planning and culinary preparation as needed, ensuring high-quality food presentation. * Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to maintain satisfaction levels. * Collaborate with upper management to implement strategies for improving service efficiency and customer experience. *Qualifications* * Previous experience in food service management or as an Assistant Manager is preferred. * Strong knowledge of culinary practices, kitchen management, and food safety standards. * Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing and cash handling. * Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members effectively. * Strong communication skills to interact with staff and customers professionally. * Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * A passion for the hospitality industry with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
