Driver
Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting clients to and from appointments while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and professionalism on the road.
Duties
Operate taxi vehicle or wheelchair van.
Load and unload assistive aids and clients safely and efficiently, utilizing equipment such as lift where needed.
Maintain accurate delivery records, including logs of rides, complaints, and incidents that may happen, no matter whose fault it is.
Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and drop-offs, addressing any client inquiries or concerns professionally.
Perform daily routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
Must be physically able to move people in wheelchairs and move around freely
Skills
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and dispatch.
Previous driving experience preferred but not required.
Proven driver experience with a clean driving record of at least 3 years.
Knowledge of local roadways is highly beneficial.
Please note: Hours will start at roughly 8 am and go to roughly 4 pm, based on needs, coverage, and longer trips.
