OverviewQuality Assurance Specialist – IMMEDIATELY HIRING! FULL-TIME Opportunity in Dallas, TXStarting Wage: $35.00-$41.00/hour • M-F Flexible SchedulingResponsibilitiesReview Repair Station work order forms and associated documents for accuracy and completeness in accordance with the Repair Station Manual, Quality Control Manual, applicable customer policy and procedures, and applicable 14 CFR regulations prior to approving the aircraft for return to service.Generate aircraft major alteration and/or repair document packages; perform research of regulatory guidance; collaborate with FAA-designated engineers, medical and aviation equipment manufacturers, aircraft manufacturer technical support staff, and alterations support vendors to compile a complete approved data file for the alteration and/or repair.Audit aircraft maintenance records and generate Repair Station work orders for aircraft major maintenance and modification events.Perform a detailed quality review of Repair Station work orders and documentation packages prior to aircraft return to service.Notify the Aircraft Owner/Operator to remove an aircraft from service when there is an error in documentation of maintenance or an alteration that violates policy, procedures, or applicable 14 CFR regulations.Assist with removal of suspect or unapproved aircraft components or parts from inventory and ensure such parts are segregated to prevent installation on customer aircraft.Assist with aircraft return-to-service processes after maintenance or an alteration in accordance with Repair Station Manuals, customer policy and procedures, and applicable 14 CFR regulations.Assist with aircraft acceptance inspections after EMS configuration completions, major maintenance and/or modification shop visits, ensuring conformance with TC/ STC data, Engineering (DER) approved data, and FAA field approval data, including drawings, instructions, specifications, and other data.Support Depot Maintenance bases and maintain state-of-the-art avionics and EMS-equipped Fixed Wing Aircraft.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Repair Station Manager and/or Chief Inspector.Minimum Required QualificationsValid State-issued driver's licenseCurrent FAA A&P licenseEMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records, and maintenance support and planning knowledgeProficient in ensuring aircraft work order documentation, forms, checklists, and other documentation comply with GMM policies and 14 CFR regulationsStrong communication skills to liaise with various customer departmentsAbility to coordinate with multiple departments and vendors to ensure smooth execution of heavy maintenance tasksIn-depth knowledge of aircraft systems, maintenance procedures, and regulatory requirementsFamiliarity with aircraft maintenance tracking programs and the ability to monitor and apply corrective actionsCapable of making sound judgments regarding aircraft safetyWillingness to participate in after-hours maintenance or on-call support, which may include travel and working some evenings, weekends, or holidaysWillingness to gain thorough knowledge of the Repair Station Company Manual System and applicable Federal Aviation RegulationsWillingness to work a flexible schedule during the assigned duty periodComputer skills including proficient use of Adobe and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Preferred QualificationsRepairman CertificateRelevant Quality Assurance experience for a 14 CFR Part 135 and/or Part 145 Certified Repair StationWhy Choose Guardian?Guardian Flight is part of Global Medical Response (GMR), a family of solutions delivering compassionate, quality medical care, primarily in emergency and patient relocation services.
