Senior level of experienceWhat are the project deliverables? This team is the DevOps team for a software org and the responsibilities will be supporting delivery teams. Development experience is a must as some will be required. The operational / infrastructure side of DevOps is managed externally, but this team will provide the tooling of our system pipeline and the efficiencies to streamline the dev experience. EX: Automation to prevent/fail for security vulnerabilities, Canary setup, pipeline integration to close tickets during deployment.What are the day to day responsibilities? Working with Dev Teams to understand pain points, scripting to enhance the pipeline, working to improve the pipeline & e2e testing.What is the team structure? Kanban Agile teamWill this resource be required to be onsite? If converted we would need the individual to be hybrid in Plano, TXMINIMUM REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree, or 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.AND, 6+ years of experience in software development experience with at least 3 years' experience working within CI/CD DevOps disciplines3+ years of experience with a container framework such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Linux containers, etc.Working experience with Git, GitHub, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, NPM.Experience with Java EE technologies like JAX-RS, JPA on JBoss/WebSphere Experience with Shell programming and scripting languages such as Python & GroovyPREFERRED:3+ years of experience building and working with CICD pipelines in DevOps environments.3+ years in Automated Integration and Functional Test Suites like3+ Selenium, WebDriverIO, RESTEasy, Ready API, etcExperience in Unit Testing/TDD/clientD frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, Mocha, Chai, Sinon, Cucumber, PIT Experience with Automation framework such as Terraform, cloud formation, Ansible Experience with JavaScript frameworks like React/Redux, Node.js, AngularJS, etc.Experience with KafkaExperience with tools such as App Dynamics & New relic to gain insight into services running in prod Familiarity with Agile & DevOps Feature creation Ability to partner and influence Features teams on adoption of DevOps tooling Ability to partner with SRE on Production Operations tooling, alerting and dashboardsRequired Skills: Java, DevOps Basic Qualification: Additional Skills: Resume review on Wednesday and interview by end of this week.
