As a full-service, federally chartered bank, we are committed to delivering exceptional service and building lasting relationships with our customers and community.Position OverviewFirst Security Bank is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Loan Processor to support our lending team through all stages of the loan process, with a strong focus on loan documentation, post-closing review, loan servicing support, and ongoing loan file maintenance.This position plays a critical role in ensuring loan files are accurate, complete, and compliant with bank policies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative community banking environment and demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.What You’ll DoGenerate and prepare required loan closing documents for lendersPrepare, process, and reconcile initial loan advances, including closing costs and disbursementsPerform closed loan file reviews to ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and legible within the bank’s imaging softwareTrack and request annual financial documentation from customers in accordance with loan policy requirementsMonitor and maintain ticklersGenerate and mail past due and loan maturity noticesGenerate, review, and mail loan statementsPrepare monthly new loan reports for review with Loan Compliance ManagementAssist lenders with document delivery and electronic signature processingMaintain and update the loan exception log and provide monthly reporting to Loan Compliance ManagementGenerate monthly loan reports for review with Loan Compliance ManagementApply loan payments and assist with troubleshooting customer loan questions and concernsProvide operational and administrative support to the Secondary Market Home Loan OfficerSupport lenders and lending staff with additional administrative and operational tasks as neededQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; additional banking, business, or finance education preferredPrevious banking, loan processing, loan servicing, or lending support experience preferredStrong attention to detail with a high level of accuracyAbility to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines efficientlyExcellent communication and customer service skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn banking software systemsUnderstanding of loan documentation, compliance requirements, and loan operations preferredWhy First Security Bank?At First Security Bank, we take pride in being a locally owned community bank with a long-standing tradition of personalized service.
