Using a multidisciplinary approach of best practices, individual success will be celebrated and students' lives will be improved.Job DescriptionYou are an enthusiastic and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician who will treat, track, and report the effectiveness of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) related interventions for individuals with autism, developmental delays, and other learning disabilities while working with a multidisciplinary team and under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) in a school-based environment.Responsibilities• Student Supervision - Provide support to special education students at Hope Academy in Mars• Treatment - Support student progress towards IEP and behavior plan goals• Reporting - Complete documentation in accordance with Hope deadlines and legal timelines• Collaboration - Establish and maintain effective working relationships with professional and support staff, administration, clients, parents, and community groups• Training - Actively participate in staff meetings and in-service training programs to continuously update skills• Other responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications• Registered Behavior Technician Certificate• Experience working with individuals with developmental delays, preferably in a school settingClearances & Training Required• Act 33 PA Child Abuse History Clearance• Act 34 PA State Criminal History Clearance• Act 114 FBI Clearance issued by the Dept of Education• Act 126 Mandated Reporter Training Certificate• Act 168 from Previous Employers where you came into contact with children• Registered Behavior Technician Certification• CPR/First Aid• TB/PhysicalWhat We Offer• Starting Pay Rate of $21/hr• Health Insurance - With employer contribution• Dental and Vision Insurance - 100% by employer paid• Paid Time Off• Retirement Investment Savings Plan• Professional Development Opportunities• Discount MarketEqual Opportunity and Non-Discrimination PolicyThe Hope Center is committed to maintaining fair and equitable employment practices in compliance with all applicable federal and state requirements.
