The ideal candidate has strong experience in air export operations within a freight forwarding environment and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.Compensation & BenefitsSalary up to $65,000 annually (commensurate with experience)Health, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and company holidays401(k) with company matchProfessional growth opportunities within a stable and expanding organizationKey ResponsibilitiesCoordinate full-cycle air export shipments from booking to final deliveryArrange bookings with airlines and negotiate rates when necessaryPrepare and process export documentation, including: Air Waybills (MAWB/HAWB), Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Shipper’s Export Declarations (AES filings), Certificates of OriginEnsure compliance with U.S. export regulations, TSA security requirements, and international air freight standardsCommunicate with shippers, overseas agents, airlines, truckers, and warehousesTrack and trace shipments; proactively update customers on shipment statusManage invoicing, billing, and file profitabilityResolve shipment issues, delays, or documentation discrepanciesMaintain accurate records in the company’s transportation management system (TMS)Qualifications2+ years of air export experience in a freight forwarding environment (required)Strong knowledge of international air shipping documentation and IncotermsExperience with AES filings and U.S. export compliance regulationsFamiliarity with airline routing, IATA regulations, and air cargo proceduresProficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)Experience with CargoWise or similar freight forwarding software preferred
