This position is ideal for someone with a foundational knowledge of Ruby on Rails and experience with Bootstrap UI framework, PostgreSQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The role involves playing a crucial part in the initial development of our software product, as well as its ongoing maintenance and enhancement based on user feedback.Key Responsibilities: Engage in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from initial design to deployment. Develop and maintain web applications utilizing Ruby on Rails, Bootstrap, PostgreSQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Create responsive UIs that align with design specifications to enhance user experience. Support database design and management efforts to ensure data accuracy and efficiency. Identify, debug, and resolve software issues. Keep abreast of new technologies and methodologies in web development. Suggest and implement improvements to enhance software performance and reliability. Manage maintenance tasks and efficiently address feature requests and updates. Complete other tasks as assigned by the Director of Technology/SupervisorQualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with the Bootstrap UI framework and knowledge of responsive design. Knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar relational databases. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.##PRITechJobs
