Our Colorado teams are expanding their Building Automation and Controls capabilities to support integrated HVAC, energy efficiency, and smart building initiatives across the Front Range. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Building Automation Systems (BAS) Engineer / Programmer to support the design, programming, commissioning, and optimization of building automation and controls systems. This role is ideal for a hands-on controls professional who enjoys full-cycle project involvement—from programming and startup through troubleshooting and customer support. Niagara N4 certification and full BAS software programming experience are strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Program, configure, and commission BAS platforms (Niagara N4 preferred) Develop and modify control logic, graphics, sequences, and system integrations Support HVAC, mechanical, and energy systems including VAV, RTUs, AHUs, boilers, chillers, and central plants Perform system startup, point-to-point checkout, functional testing, and commissioning support Troubleshoot BAS software, network, and field device issues Collaborate with project managers, field technicians, and customers to deliver successful projects Provide documentation, as-builts, and client training as needed Support retrofit, service, and new construction projects across the Denver metro area Preferred Qualifications Niagara N4 certification (ideal) Strong BAS software programming experience (logic, graphics, integrations) Experience with building automation platforms and protocols (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks) Working knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and controls sequences Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and controls drawings Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer-facing skills Experience Level Open to mid-level through senior BAS professionals Candidates with strong programming experience but partial certification will be considered What We Offer Competitive compensation aligned to experience - $60K - $110K base Company vehicle or vehicle allowance (role-dependent) Health insurance (base employee coverage paid by the company) 401(k) with company match after eligibility period Short- and long-term disability coverage PTO and paid holidays Long-term growth opportunities within a national platform with local leadership We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level.
