Senior Plant Operator

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Senior Operator based out of our Newark, NJ location to play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our materials in our East Region. This role is responsible for operations of the recycling plant.Day to DayActively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognitionDay to day operations of recycled asphaltOperating loader to load material in plantMaterial clean up using skid steerPlant maintenanceComply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations.Perform daily pre-shift equipment and workplace inspections to maintain equipment performanceMaintain strong communications with other plant employees and operatorsPerform other duties or responsibilities as assignedAbout You Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance2-4 years related experiencePositive, Team-based attitudeThe ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)Basic computer, working with hands, weldingHigh school diploma or GED equivalentWorking ConditionsWhile most areas have air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty.Compensation$26.52 - $31.83 HrlyBenefitsArcosa is proud to offer competitive benefits and programs to help you and your family meet your healthcare and retirement planning needs.
