Senior Cost EstimatorOptomi, in partnership with a leader in Professional Services, is seeking an Senior Cost Estimator to develop and validate construction cost estimates across large-scale projects. In need of someone who can deliver accurate, real-world cost estimates based on current market conditions. The role requires individuals with strong industry experience and the ability to validate pricing through hands-on knowledge and professional networks. The position is primarily on-site, with occasional site visits to assess real conditions.Responsibilities of the Right Candidate:Develop and validate construction cost estimates across large-scale projectsAnalyze costs for: Materials (e.g., concrete, steel), Labor, and EquipmentProvide real-time cost insights based on: Market conditions and Regional pricing trendsLeverage industry relationships to: Validate pricing assumptions, Source vendor and subcontractor input, and Support budgeting and planning across multiple project componentsQualifications of the Right Candidate:5+ years of construction estimating experienceExperience on large-scale construction projects ($300M+)Ability to validate pricing through hands-on knowledge and professional networks.Strong understanding of: Material costs, Labor markets, Regional pricing dynamicsRecent, hands-on project experience (currently active or recently rolled off projects)Familiarity with cost estimation tools and systemsJob Nice to Haves:Experience in:InfrastructureAviationIndustrial construction
