Production Laborer 2nd Shift (Contract to Union)Schedule: 3:00PM-1:00AM Mon-Thurs + OT on FridaysPay $22.00-24.00/hr to startJob Description:This 2nd shift Production Laborer role involves building outdoor living products using concrete blocks and other materials in a high-volume manufacturing environment. You will work with hand tools and production equipment to cut, grind, glue, and level materials, perform visual quality inspections, and handle repetitive lifting while keeping production lines running smoothly.ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret job specifications to determine required materials and production steps.Perform visual quality inspection of concrete blocks and other products as they move along the production line.Perform minor machine maintenance and basic adjustments, escalating larger issues to on-site maintenance technicians.Consistently move materials throughout the production area, including loading, stacking, and organizing products.Lift and handle concrete products, machine parts, and other items weighing up to 50 pounds from floor level to heights of up to 4 feet.Work safely in a loud, dusty, and non-climate-controlled production environment while following all safety procedures.Essential SkillsAbility to read and use a tape measure accurately for precise measurements and cuts.Basic math skills to support measuring, cutting, and material handling tasks.Capability to read and understand job specifications and production instructions.Comfort working in a loud, dusty, and non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.Ability to perform repetitive lifting of up to 50 pounds and move materials throughout the shift.Ability to lift concrete products, machine parts, and other objects weighing up to 50 pounds from floor level to approximately 4 feet high.Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods and perform frequent bending and twisting.Experience with general labor tasks such as material handling, heavy lifting, and use of basic tools.Willingness to perform minor machine maintenance and follow established safety protocols.Why Work Here?You will join a well-established industry leader in concrete masonry, dry mix, and hardscape products with a strong presence across North America. The facility is loud, dusty, and somewhat dirty, and it is non-climate-controlled, so temperatures will vary with the seasons.
