Job Description Cloud EngineerLocation: Arlington, VA Clearance: Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain DHS suitability clearance, as required by federal contract.Summary:The Cloud Engineer will provide engineering expertise in building, securing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure for DHS CISA. This role focuses on deploying mission-critical workloads in compliant environments while supporting modernization and Zero Trust initiatives.Responsibilities:Deploy and manage workloads in AWS GovCloud and Azure Gov.Automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.Implement Zero Trust and FedRAMP-compliant security configurations.Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and optimize performance.Collaborate with architects, developers, and security engineers to align cloud solutions with DHS mission needs.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or cloud operations.Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or hybrid cloud environments.Strong understanding of DHS, NIST, and FedRAMP cloud security standards.Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Job Posted by ApplicantPro
