Manufacturing Technician - Onsite

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for an Onsite position with a Global Pharmaceutical Company located in Athens, GA. This is a 10+ month contract opportunity.This role is responsible for the preparation of vaccine components within a highly controlled, aseptic clean room environment. The successful candidate will utilize virus and cell culture techniques in compliance with all USDA regulations and Standard Operating Procedures. This position requires working a 4:00 am - 2:30 pm shift, with overtime, weekend, and holiday work as needed.Responsibilities:Perform activities associated with the preparation of vaccine components in an aseptic clean room environmentUtilize virus and cell culture techniques according to USDA regulationsEnsure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures during the execution of processesAssist with training and coaching of current and new employees on required skillsComplete and review in-process documentation for accuracy and compliance in a timely mannerParticipate in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actionsDemonstrate a visible commitment to EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) programsParticipate and provide support to site projects and initiatives, including deviation and change control managementRequirements:High School Diploma or equivalentRabies vaccine requiredAbility to work the required shift (4:00 am - 2:30 pm) and overtime, weekends, and holidays as neededKnowledge of clean room and aseptic techniquesBasic understanding of Lean Manufacturing PrinciplesBasic math skills and equipment/automation troubleshooting skillsProficient with Microsoft Office and other database software systemsExcellent oral and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to problem-solve and work in a team environmentDesired skills:Biology Degree or related fieldOne year or more of laboratory experience and/or manufacturing experiencePay rate: up to $20.00 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, apply today!Aptask Global Workforce (AGW)ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) is a certified Minority and Veteran workforce solutions company.
