STS Technical Services is hiring Aerospace Trainers in Stuart, Florida.STS Technical Services is seeking experienced Aerospace Trainers to support aerospace maintenance and technical training operations in Stuart, Florida. This role is built for professionals who can lead classroom instruction, conduct hands-on training, and help develop the next generation of aerospace mechanics and inspectors.If you have aerospace industry experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to train personnel in both technical and safety-focused environments, this opportunity aligns with your skill set.Job ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee classes consisting of approximately 15 trainees, contractors, or employeesDevelop and maintain training materials including PowerPoint presentations, visual aids, written exams, and plate testsDesign and implement training programs tailored to varying experience levels of aerospace mechanics and inspectorsStay current on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and technological advancements to maintain accurate training contentDeliver classroom instruction covering aerospace principles, maintenance procedures, and inspection techniquesFoster a positive and professional learning environment that encourages participation and growthConduct hands-on practical training sessions to reinforce technical knowledge and skill developmentProvide instruction on the proper use of aerospace tools, equipment, and technologiesEvaluate trainee performance through written assessments, practical examinations, and simulated exercisesDeliver constructive feedback and individualized improvement plans to support trainee developmentPromote and enforce safety procedures, industry best practices, and regulatory compliance throughout all training activitiesSupport a strong safety culture aligned with aerospace industry standards and company policiesBuild and maintain relationships with industry professionals, organizations, and regulatory agenciesSupport ongoing professional development initiatives and advanced certification opportunitiesMaintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, evaluations, and performance metricsGenerate reports tracking trainee progress, completion rates, and overall program effectivenessInterpret blueprints and product specifications to determine assembly and repair methods for sheet metal componentsWork with various gauges and types of sheet metal including stainless steel and aluminumPerform drilling, reaming, riveting, fitting, countersinking, adjusting, finishing, and inspection workTrim, file, grind, deburr, buff, and smooth surfaces to meet quality standardsApply brush coat and sealants as requiredMaintain organized and compliant training records, files, and reportsQualificationsMinimum of 5 years of aerospace industry experienceHigh school diploma or GED requiredStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to effectively interact with trainees, employees, and external stakeholdersAbility to apply basic mathematical concepts including fractions and decimalsStrong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical documents and specificationsClose vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment abilities requiredThorough understanding of company safety policies, procedures, and aerospace industry safety standardsAbout STS Technical ServicesSTS Technical Services is a Top 100 Staffing Firm that partners with some of the largest names in aerospace, manufacturing, defense, and industrial operations.
