Department: Sales EngineeringLocation: Remote - CaliforniaCompensation: $135,000 - $175,000 / yearDescriptionThe Sales Engineer Manager will engage with some of the region's top dealers to establish a high level of understanding of their technical sales needs. This role will also be responsible for driving growth and efficiency throughout the Assigned Region’s Sales Engineers organization. If you’re well organized, enjoy driving team initiatives, and are passionate about technology and driving customer product adoption, join our team.Key ResponsibilitiesMentor and grow the Sales Engineering teamImplement programs to improve overall team performanceAct as a key sales/technical advisor and advocate for Brivo and third-party productsRepresent the company and product to customers and at field eventsCreate, publish, and maintain technical documentsConvey customer and team requirements to product management teamsWork cross-functionally to ensure customer projects have adequate supportPartner with our L&D team to develop and edit content for Brivo University training courses.Provide remote and on-site assistance as needed with escalated technical support issuesDeliver technical overview training as well as Certification Training on Brivo productsProvide technical sales support, including system demonstrations and presentations to resellers and end usersSkills, Knowledge and Expertise5+ years of sales engineering experience requiredMust be located in the CST or PDT time zonesBachelor’s degree or equivalent experiencePrior experience creating processes and proceduresPrior experience creating written responses to functional and technical requirements for Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP)Prior experience delivering product demonstrations to dealers and end-usersPrior experience creating a bill of materials (BOM)Deliver pre-sales and technical training contentExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenDemonstrate self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasmPresent ideas, expectations, and information in a concise, well-organized wayPrefer a pre-sales technical and/or engineering backgroundAbility to lift 50 lbsValid U.S. PassportAbility to travel 50-70%Lives close to a major airportBenefitsBrivo is a Great Place to Work-Certified™ company and the global leader in cloud-based access control and video surveillance.
