Job Description:LaRiviere inc. is looking for experienced and dependable carpenters . Duties will be new builds, installations, and repair of structures. Pay is depending on experience and work history.Most jobs are local in the North Idaho / Spokane Washington Region. Some regional travel may be required dependent on projects.LaRiviere offers a generous benefit package to all of our employees including paid Medical Insurance for the employee, PTO time, paid holidays, and an automatic hourly 401k contribution.Responsibilities:Interpreting blueprints and building specifications to map out layoutMeasuring, cutting, and shaping wood, plastic, and other materialsConstructing building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframesErecting, leveling, and installing building framework with the aid of rigging hardware and cranesInspecting and replacing damaged framework or other structures and fixturesInstructing and directing laborers and other construction trade helpersCollaborating with architects and other construction professionalsEnsure adherence to safety and compliance codesMaintain work area clean and organized, ensuring maintenance of tools and equipmentQualifications:Proven experience as a carpenterHands-on experience in working with carpentry materialsProficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)Ability to read technical documents and drawingsWillingness to follow safety guidelines at all timesGood understanding of basic mathGood physical condition and enduranceAbility to work in varying weather conditionsAbility to stand for long periods of timeAbility to lift, climb ladders, bend, and lift up to 50lbs.High school diploma; Successful completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program is required
