Craft Recruiter

The Recruiter will collaborate with Department Managers & Craft Superintendents on a regular basis to meet the current hiring demands and proactively identify future hiring needs. Should also be able to evaluate and attract candidates using various sources, like Workday ATS, social media networks, job boards, and employee referrals.FunctionsUtilize job boards, applicant tracking systems, and other resources to proactively source exempt and non-exempt rolesPartner with assigned hiring managers to achieve recruitment objectives while providing superior client serviceScreen and interview applicants to ensure they meet the requirements of open roles and have an in-depth understanding of associated duties and responsibilitiesSchedule interviews with qualified candidates and support hiring managers/ candidates through the application processEnsure all required documentation/data is recorded in the applicant tracking system in a timely, accurate mannerManage multiple openings in a fast-paced environment while meeting aggressive hiring timelinesAssist with administering recruitment procedures, metrics, and tools to deliver an efficient, effective process and ensure positive hiring manager and candidate experiencesOther duties as assigned.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNo supervisory responsibilitiesReporting RelationshipThis position will be reported to the Recruiting ManagerRequirementsAssociate degree in Human Resources (HR), Business Administration, or a related field, plus three to five years’ experience required as a Recruiter. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be consideredWillingness for 100% Onsite workExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities while providing exceptional experience for hiring managers and candidatesStrong candidate generation skillsWorking knowledge of MS Office and Workday or other applicant tracking systemsMust be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skillsExperience with Shipbuilding, Manufacturing, or heavy Industrial craft recruitingWorking ConditionsThis position is considered OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows. Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at nightOccasional exposure to airborne dust in the workplaceWorksurface is stable (flat)
