Days/Nights to be assigned at orientation but will not rotate (will never work days and nights within same week).Facility Overview:Community Hospital SettingRNs do all the clinical Work; no IV teamThey don’t have residents at this hospitalThey do have a good support system in place for their RNsHospital Census Limits - Typically run count of 130-150 PatientsDetails:3+ Years of Recent PCU or Stepdown experienceLooking for around 4-5+ years of total RN experience, preferably 2+ years of staff and 2+ years of travelVent Experience - the vented patients on this unit will be lower acuity than ICU, but the RNs should still be able to care for themTrach managementHeavy patients with CHF, CRF, hemodialysis patients, electrolyte abnormalitiesExperience with chest tubes and lumbar drainsStrong Drip ManagementCare of MI, Cardiomyopathy, PCI, CVA PatientsDopamine, Dobutamine, Amio, Cardizem, Heparin drip care and experience (no titrating on floor but will need to manage these gtts so must be knowledgeable and comfortable with them)Personality is important!
