Opus' technologies and services help our state partners meet strict US EPA Clean Air regulations by managing vehicle inspection programs, Vehicle Information Databases, and developing differentiated solutions for remote vehicle monitoring.Job PurposeThe Equipment Technician performs preventative maintenance and repairs on emission testing equipment, manages parts inventory, and ensures accurate documentation. This role provides essential support to station management and requires a proactive approach to operational excellence under the direction of the Systems Support Manager.This is a full-time position; standard hours are 40 hours weekly.-Nighttime Technician Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AMDuties & Responsibilities-Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to Emission Testing Equipment.-Participate in company-provided training for the following equipment: Computers, Peripherals, Printers, Gas Analyzers, Dynamometers, RPM Units, OBD Units, Bar Code Readers, Pneumatics-Perform parts inventory and requisition supplies as needed.-Complete necessary paperwork and record all maintenance and repair activity.-Provide station management with phone consultation regarding immediate equipment issues when not yet on-site.-Other duties as assigned by management team.
