Responsibilities are focused on cost estimates, material, and labor requirements estimates to complete a project.Develop cost estimates from the take-off stage to bid hand-off Work with ConEst Estimating SoftwareDevelop cost estimates for change ordersAnalyze material and labor requirements to complete a project Attend pre-bid and scope review meetings Compute and submit bidsRead & thoroughly understand blueprintsPerform fully on-screen electronic takeoffs and markupsMeet with engineers, customers, vendors, and Project Managers Visually inspect project locations to determine the amount of labor and materials needed to do the workContact vendors for pricing Assess the costs of leasing equipmentMaintain the change order submissions/documents in an organized and standardized manner. Work with the project team to develop this standard.Analyze material and labor requirements to complete a projectAttend pre-bid and scope review meetingsREQUIRED:6-8 years of experience with a High School Diploma, 4-6 years of experience with an Associate degree, or 0-2 years of experience with a Bachelor's degreeStrong computer, Bluebeam, ConEst, and Microsoft Suite skillsKnowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Low Voltage Systems. Read and evaluate specifications and blueprints.Deal effectively with customersAnalyze risks involved with certain project typesEstimate large and small projectsWork calmly under deadlines and external pressureExcellent math skillsStrong communication skills.
