Maintenance Mechanic

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and mechanical equipment in our facility. Responsibilities: Supervise a team of 3 Responsible for repair and maintenance of electro-mechanical equipment such as Vertical form fill seal machine , Extruders, conveyors, L-sealers, pallet wrappers, Chocolate and Candy Production process machinery Responsibilities: · Repair of mechanical equipment including pumps, gearboxes, motors, blowers, conveyors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems. · Repair of electrical equipment including motors, PLC’s, motor controls, variable speed drives, and all electrical controls. · Perform all repairs and adjustment of dock doors, pallet racks, Material handling equipment, pallet wrappers, and electrical Work in accordance with OSHA standards. · Perform daily inspections of all machinery to ensure that equipment is safe to operate per manufacture standards. · Analyze and solve electrical/mechanical problems of manufacturing equipment. · Perform established Preventive Maintenance and identify potential mechanical failures. Understand and follow all safety programs related to maintenance Qualifications: - Strong mechanical knowledge and experience - Proficiency in electrical systems and logic controllers - Ability to weld and fabricate metal structures - Experience in facilities maintenance - Excellent customer service skills - Proficient in English, both verbal and written - Leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team If you are a proactive Maintenance Mechanic with a solid understanding of mechanical systems, electrical components, and strong leadership abilities, we encourage you to apply.
