Catering Operations Lead

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Catering Manager to oversee our catering operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and exceptional leadership skills. Responsibilities: -Maintain Cleanliness and Organization of all event rooms and storage areas -Set up tables, chairs, linens, tablesettings, A/V equipment, buffets, beverage stations, etc. --this often include hauling plates, silverware, glassware, linens, service utensils, etc to offsite locations. We have a catering vehicle you may use for this aspect. -act as Team Lead on ALL events, leading a staff of 1-8 employees depending on the type and size of the event -Ensure all staff provides great customer service to event attendees, and are presentable and professional at all times. -Hiring, Training, and Scheduling Event Staff -build and maintain strong relationships with staff/owners at various venues we work at -cross-train in the restaurant to be of value and service when necessary. An ideal candidate is able to work as a server, host, bartender, or kitchen employee during slow seasons -have an open availability (mostly) to be able to work all events. Event shifts may start as early as 5 or 6am, or sometimes can be as late as midnight.
