Production Assembler

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Device Production Technician to join our manufacturing team in Vernon Hills. This position is responsible for the assembly, repair, inspection, and testing of precision medical devices in a clean, quality-focused manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing, production, small parts assembly, medical device assembly, electronics assembly, or a similar hands-on role requiring strong attention to detail. Essential Responsibilities Assemble, disassemble, repair, and inspect precision medical devices according to established work instructions and quality standards. Perform small parts assembly using hand tools and specialized equipment. Inspect components to ensure they meet quality specifications and identify parts requiring rework or replacement. Read and follow assembly drawings, work instructions, and production documentation. Complete production records and required documentation accurately. Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of workstations and equipment. Maintain an organized and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures. Cross-train in multiple assembly processes as needed. Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production and quality goals. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of one year of manufacturing, production, assembly, repair, or small parts assembly experience preferred. Experience in medical device manufacturing, electronics assembly, precision assembly, or mechanical assembly is a plus. Ability to work with small components and perform repetitive, detail-oriented tasks. Experience using hand tools, measuring devices, calipers, gauges, or micrometers is preferred. Experience working with microscopes, soldering equipment, adhesives, or solvents is a plus. Basic computer skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to read and follow written work instructions and assembly procedures. Willingness to work overtime or additional hours as needed.
