Maintenance Technician Winter Haven, FL1st Shift Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, overtime as needed. Starting Wage: $26/hour plusResponsibilities:Assist and/or perform all tasks required as detailed in Preventative Maintenance Plan (per interval).Visually inspect equipment parts for damage and proper cleaning.Clean, lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of the machinery.Assist other maintenance personnel when required with dismantling of defective machines and equipment and assist with installation of new or repaired parts.Perform maintenance and repair activities within set budgets for each area and monitor operator conformance to established operating conditions.Provide encapsulation equipment training to new and current machine operators.Schedule and ensure all preventative maintenance requirements are completed fully as detailed in the Preventative Maintenance Plan.Assist in maintaining the appropriate levels of spare parts in stock to minimize downtime.Work with Production Planning to schedule all preventative maintenance work while minimizing downtime.Prioritize workload and perform repairs in a timely manner to minimize production downtime.Adhere to company rules and safe work practices throughout each department.Keep work area clean and organized.Other duties as assignedEducation:Minimum High School diploma or GED with 2 to 4 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experiencePreferred Technical degree and/or equivalent experience.Experience:Minimum 4 years+ experience in a manufacturing environment.Previous experience in a GMP manufacturing environment is desirable.Specific Skills:Experience working in industrial/commercial environments.Experience working in hazardous environments.Able to interpret P&ID and schematics.Experience and knowledge of pneumatic systems.Working knowledge of diaphragm pumps, centrifugal pumps valves, and actuatorsGreat problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and carry out mechanical repairs on a range of mechanical equipment (motors, pumps, valves)Able to understand, work with and have an input in the creation of Risk AssessmentsGood understanding and maintenance of manufacturing equipmentTake responsibility for the coordination of contractor works conducted in compliance with Health & SafetyDemonstrate a working knowledge in Microsoft Office programs i.e., Word and ExcelAptitude and willingness for continued training and developmentMust be skilled in electrical 120v to 480v and control voltage 24vSkilled in maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic processing equipment.ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
