An exciting contract opportunity is available for a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with experience in school settings. Qualifications & Experience:
Must possess and maintain valid PTA credentials in accordance with state requirements
Demonstrated experience working as a PTA within a school setting preferred
Ability to adapt intervention strategies to enhance student participation in academic and social activities
Effective communication and documentation skills for interactions with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Commitment to ethical, student-centered care
Role Responsibilities:
Support the implementation of individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
Deliver therapy sessions to students in group or one-on-one environments as outlined in IEPs/504 plans
Assist with evaluations, maintain detailed records, and monitor progress toward specified goals
Communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure continuity of care
Contribute to IEP meetings and provide relevant documentation according to required timelines
Adapt materials and supports to foster student independence in the school environment
