Customer Service Specialist - Temp Opportunity

Work Model: On-Site What You Will Do: Interact with customers in a positive, calm, and cooperative manner to answer questions, provide directions, and de-escalate conflict as needed Identify passenger stop locations and explain costs of services, regulations, and transfer rules Respond effectively to unusual and difficult situations, including emergencies, upset customers, customers with language or speech barriers, and customers with special needs Record customer comments, complaints, commendations, and recommendations in the database Process client applications and determine eligibility Manage inventory and distribution of company documents Maintain customer and client databases What You Will Need to Be Successful: High school diploma or equivalent with at least one year of customer service experience (highvolume call center or public-facing role preferred) Strong customer service skills with a courteous, patient, and positive attitude Flexibility to work off-hours shifts as required Ability to use Microsoft Office, manage databases, and accurately handle monetary transactions Knowledge of Des Moines and surrounding areas; bilingual skills are a plus Benefits Overview: 401k Major health insurances Employee Stock Ownership Plan ( ESOP ) Click here for a complete list of benefits Interested and qualified candidates can contact Palmer Group at (515) 225-7000 or email resumes@thepalmergroup.com.
