Position: Manual Machinist - Level 3 Location: Clackamas, OR Pay: $35.00 - $44.00/hr Schedule: Full-Time | Day ShiftMonday - Thursday | 6:00 AM - 4:30 PMOpti Staffing is hiring for a growing manufacturer of precision machined components specializing in close-tolerance parts, assemblies, prototyping, production runs, and CAD design. With expansion underway into a second Clackamas location, we’re looking for experienced Manual Machinists to join the team! What You’ll Do: Develop machining plans based on blueprint specifications Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and GD&T Set up and operate manual mills and lathes (primarily lathes) Set up tooling and fixtures for each job Monitor production and make process adjustments as needed Inspect parts using precision measuring tools Hold tight tolerances of ± .001 Perform final inspections to drawing specifications Troubleshoot machining issues proactively Maintain a clean and organized workspace What’s In It for You: Competitive pay: $35-$44/hr Monday-Thursday schedule = 3-day weekends 401(k) with company match Health, Dental & Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Career growth opportunities with an expanding company What You Need: Extensive experience with manual machining equipment Strong understanding of tooling, machining processes, feeds & speeds Blueprint reading & GD&T interpretation skills Experience with precision measuring equipment Ability to work independently Strong shop math and problem-solving skills Commitment to safety and teamwork The Musts: Ability to hold tolerances of ± .001 Ability to lift 50 lbs Ability to stand throughout the shift Preferred: Precision manufacturing experience Prototyping & production run experience Continuous improvement mindset To Apply: Please send an updated resume.
