AI Engineering Instructor

Calling All AI Engineering Experts – Help Shape the Future of AI Talent! Are you a passionate AI engineer who loves teaching, mentoring, and helping others build real products? Coding Temple – a mission-driven tech education provider focused on career transformation and closing the talent gap – is expanding our AI Engineering Instructor Bench, and we’re looking for exceptional humans to join us. We’re building a best-in-class team of instructors and mentors with deep knowledge in: Generative AI and LLM-based systems (OpenAI APIs or similar) LLM architecture, failure modes, and safe usage in production Prompt engineering for real-world use, not just demos RAG: embeddings, vector databases, and retrieval quality Building and deploying RAG workflows (LangChain or similar frameworks) LLM agents, tool use, and external APIs Multi-agent systems and orchestration (e.g., LangGraph) LLMOps / MLOps: deployment, monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement Python for AI/ML engineering Cloud environments and production constraints (latency, cost, reliability) Bonus: Experience with teaching, mentoring, bootcamps, or developer advocacy. Your Responsibilities Deliver Live Sessions Run engaging virtual classes on AI engineering and intelligent agents, following Coding Temple’s AI Bootcamp curriculum. Lead live coding, system design walkthroughs, and project reviews that mirror real industry work. Support Student Success Guide and mentor learners through their AI engineering journey. Help learners understand not just how tools work, but why decisions are made under production constraints. Hold office hours, answer technical questions, and unblock students on projects. Review Work Grade assignments and projects using a structured rubric focused on functionality, impact, and reliability. Provide clear, actionable feedback on system design, code quality, and evaluation metrics. Help students turn their projects into portfolio-ready, employer-trusted proof of capability. Inspire Confidence Motivate learners from diverse backgrounds to gain real, job-ready AI skills. Model professionalism, communication, and collaborative engineering practices.
