The national search for a transformational leader will serve as the inaugural Chief of Pediatric Dermatology for one of the country’s premier child health systems. Opportunity Highlights Join an established Pediatric Dermatology program with aspirations for regional growth and development. Practice enhanced by Advanced Practice Providers performing assessment, diagnosis, and intervention. Opportunity to create an economic model for Pediatric Dermatology that marries comprehensive quality care for all children with the fiscal opportunities of traditional Pediatric Dermatology community practice. The CCHCS recently ranked #1 on the Forbes list of America’s Best Large Employers in the "Health Care and Social Services" industry category. Future programmatic recruitment process support through an established fellow’s retention program offering monthly stipends to qualified fellows. Candidates must be BE/BC by the American Board of Dermatology with subspecialty certification in Pediatric Dermatology highly desired and eligible to secure an unrestricted Texas Medical License. Opportunities are available, but not required, to teach medical students and pediatric residents as well as pursue clinical research with support including campus IRB, grant writing, research nurses, and a dedicated PhD statistician.
