Landing Gear Intern

Support the design, build, and implementation of flight hardware, test stands, procedures, and reports for qualification and production applications.Collaborate with the Landing Gear team on technical direction and manage delivery, conformity, testing, and certification.Conduct performance analysis, including braking energy and multibody dynamic landing analysis.Write, review, and conduct tests at the equipment and system level.Review flight test data.Knowledge in mechanical design and CAD tools.Experience with Siemens NX CAD and Simcenter FEA tools is a plus.Knowledge in kinematic analysis and optimization.Understanding of structural analysis using hand calculations and finite element methods.Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.Engineering student design team experience (Baja SAE/Formula SAE) is an asset.Experience with hand tools is an asset.
