Seventy-five percent of the Allied OMS board of directors are doctor members, and Allied OMS doctors lead 100% of the platform's management committees.Founded in 2020 in partnership with DuneGlass Capital, a healthcare services-focused independent sponsor, the Allied OMS network now includes 75 doctors serving patients from 56 locations in Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.About The RoleThe Sr Data Analyst, Doctor Compensation is a critical role responsible for the accuracy, validation, and reconciliation of doctor compensation across Allied OMS practices. This position owns provider earnings integrity and ensures all collections, adjustments, refunds, and contractual compensation components are accurately captured, validated, and paid.This role has high visibility across the organization and the ability to make an immediate impact through process improvement, controls, and enhanced transparency around doctor compensation. It sits within the Finance organization and partners closely with Accounting, Payroll, Data, Operations, and HR. The role requires prior experience managing complex, collections-based provider compensation models and performing retrospective true-ups in a multi-EMR environment.This is not a junior analytical role and is not aligned to HR compensation or benefits functions.Key Responsibilities – Doctor Compensation Accuracy, Oversight & OwnershipOwn the end-to-end validation of doctor compensation calculations, including base pay, productivity-based earnings, incentives, and contractual adjustmentsEnsure compensation outputs align with executed employment agreements, shareholder agreements, and approved compensation structuresMaintain continuous oversight of provider earnings to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timelinessIdentify gaps, inefficiencies, and risk areas in existing compensation processes and implement improvementsQuarterly True-Ups & Retrospective AnalysisPerform quarterly and ad-hoc true-ups by reconciling historical collections, refunds, takebacks, and charge correctionsConduct detailed look-back analyses to ensure post-period adjustments are properly reflected in doctor compensationMaintain clear, audit-ready documentation supporting all retroactive compensation adjustmentsEMR, Collections & Financial ReconciliationExtract, normalize, and reconcile provider-level data from multiple EMRs and practice management systemsPartner with Accounting to validate collections data against billing reports, general ledger activity, and bank depositsIdentify, research, and resolve discrepancies across EMRs, payroll systems, and financial recordsRefunds, Adjustments & Revenue IntegrityEnsure refunds, insurance takebacks, patient credits, and other financial adjustments are accurately attributed and timed for compensation purposesPartner with Accounting and Operations to confirm proper classification and treatment of adjustmentsMonitor trends and anomalies in collections and compensation data and escalate issues proactivelyControls, Reporting & Audit SupportEstablish and maintain repeatable validation processes and internal controls related to doctor compensationSupport internal and external audits by providing clear documentation, reconciliations, and analysisPrepare compensation analyses and summaries for Finance and Executive LeadershipCross-Functional Partnership & Doctor InteractionServe as the primary Finance partner on doctor compensation matters across Accounting, Payroll, Data, Operations, and HRCollaborate with Data and Operations to improve data quality, reporting consistency, and system outputsSupport HR with compensation validation related to employment agreements, amendments, onboarding, and offboarding eventsRespond to doctor compensation questions with clear, accurate, and professional explanations supported by dataCommunicate complex financial concepts in a manner that is understandable, factual, and confidence-building for physiciansSupport integration of newly acquired practices by validating compensation data and EMR outputsRequirements7+ years of experience in healthcare finance, provider compensation, physician payroll, or revenue-based compensation analysisDirect, hands-on experience working with EMRs and practice management systemsProven experience performing retrospective true-ups and reconciling refunds, adjustments, and historical correctionsAdvanced Excel skills and strong comfort working with large, complex datasetsDemonstrated ability to clearly articulate financial outcomes and resolve questions with senior stakeholders, including physiciansPreferred QualificationsExperience in an MSO, DSO, or multi-site healthcare organizationFamiliarity with multiple EMRs across acquired or legacy practicesExperience partnering closely with Accounting on general ledger reconciliation and audit supportExposure to payroll systems supporting complex, non-standard compensation structuresWhy This Role MattersDoctor compensation is one of the largest and most sensitive financial line items in the organization.
