Houseman Job Description Front Entrance Clean front glass doors Maintain area-vacuum, sweep, etc. Return any luggage carts to area Clean parking lot and pick up trash Lobby Vacuum rug, sweep and mop floors Wipe down all surfaces High dust Wipe electronics (keep business center debris and dust free) Empty trash and recycling bins Ensure lighting is functional Restock paper in business center Public Restrooms Clean and sanitize Empty trash Restock urinal cakes, feminine products, toilet paper, soap, tissues and paper towels Ensure lighting is functional High dust Breakfast Area Sweep and mop floor Wipe down table, chair seats, and legs Pick up dishes Ensure lighting is functional Elevators Vacuum and wipe down elevators Clean the tracks in elevators Pool Keep clutter and debris free Empty trash and recycling bins Pick up dirty towels and replenish Clean up wet areas and use wet floor signs Straighten furniture Guest Hallways Vacuum Keep clutter free Wipe down elevators, doors, and walls Empty waste and recycling bins Check ice machine and clean surface Ensure all hallway lighting is functional Check stairwells for debris and trash Fitness Center Keep clutter free Replenish fitness towels Empty trash High dust Ensure TV remote and lighting is functional Check room temp and adjust if necessary Ensure all equipment is functional Employee Break Room & Bathroom Sweep/Mop Keep clutter free Wipe down all surfaces Empty trash Clean microwave Meeting Room Vacuum Keep clutter free Wipe down all surfaces High dust Extras: Shampoo carpet or power wash building as needed. Houseman will be positioned in any department as needed during higher occupancy and short on labor in any department at that time. Houseman will be required to complete all tasks assigned to him/her during their shift.
