This role sits at the intersection of performance riding and engineering, ensuring our products meet the highest standards before reaching customers.The MissionAs our on-the-ground test rider and technical specialist, you will be responsible for pushing our bikes to their limits and translating real-world performance into actionable engineering insights.You will bridge the gap between product development, engineering, and real-world riding—ensuring our bikes are not only innovative, but proven in the field.Key ResponsibilitiesReal-World Testing: Conduct extensive field testing of e-MTB and eMoto platforms across Hong Kong and mainland China, including varied terrain and riding conditionsPerformance Feedback: Provide detailed, structured feedback on ride quality, durability, power delivery, thermal performance, and system behaviorEngineering Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams to identify issues, validate fixes, and improve product performanceDiagnostics & Troubleshooting: Assist in identifying mechanical and electrical issues in both field and workshop environmentsIteration Support: Validate design updates, firmware changes, and component revisions through repeat testing cyclesData & Reporting: Document findings and contribute to root-cause analysis to support continuous product improvementCross-Functional Support: Collaborate with suppliers, factories, and internal teams to ensure alignment between design and real-world performanceWhat You Bring to the TrailEngineering Background: Strong foundation in mechanical and/or electrical engineeringRiding Experience: Experienced and capable e-MTB rider with a deep understanding of aggressive/off-road ridingTechnical Aptitude: Ability to analyze and communicate performance issues with clarity and precisionHands-On Mindset: Comfortable working both in the field and in workshop environmentsMobility: Willing and able to travel frequently across Hong Kong and mainland ChinaAttention to Detail: High level of precision in testing, reporting, and feedbackPassion: You live and breathe riding—this isn't just a job, it's part of your identityProblem Solver: You don't just identify issues; you help drive solutionsLife at BonnellWe combine high energy with radical transparency.
