Maintenance Technician - Entry Level
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Safely trouble shoot, repair, and maintain paper printing & converting equipment.
Respond to operator, quality, and/or supervisor requests on equipment issues.
Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment and document accordingly.
Fabricate & build tools and equipment using blueprints or other mechanical plans.
General carpentry.
Maintenance and repair of building facilities; lighting, plumbing, HVAC, etc.
General Building and Grounds tasks.
Competencies
Mechanical aptitude.
Attention to detail.
Use of basic hand tools, operating a welder, torch, drill press, & common power tools.
Use of tape measures, micrometers, calipers & indicators.
Hours: To be determined
Compensation: From $22.00 per hour
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Knowledge of all operations and procedures.
Mechanical aptitude.
Electrical background is plus
Experience in production/finishing environment.
Able to read and follow directions.
Able to work independently with little to no direction (self-motivated).
Must be accurate and precise.
Good interpersonal skills.
Promotes and models safety procedures.
Must be prompt and reliable and able to work overtime as needed.
Able to work with others in accomplishing tasks or goals in a team atmosphere.
Ability to adapt quickly to new and varied job tasks in a fast paced environment.
Ability and willingness to work cooperatively with others.
