This includes calibration, testing, maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, or repair of equipment and instrumentation.Veterans from the Navy, Army, Marine Corps, and Air Force often gain directly transferable experience through programs such as PMEL, TMDE, avionics, electronics maintenance, metrology, or quality assurance, which aligns well with this role.Technicians at this level typically perform calibration on low- to mid-level instrumentation across up to three (3) measurement disciplines, such as:ElectricalDimensionalPressureTemperatureTorqueSkill progression is supported through The Client's structured technician development matrix.Key Responsibilities:Work alongside experienced technicians in a laboratory environment to learn and apply calibration fundamentals (electrical, temperature, measurement, electronics, etc.)Perform calibration, inspection, and verification of equipment using approved procedures and standardsIdentify and apply proper measurement techniques, similar to military technical orders and maintenance manualsMaintain calibration standards and documentation in accordance with quality and compliance requirementsDevelop working knowledge in at least three (3) calibration disciplinesPerform calibration work in a lab setting and/or under supervision at customer sitesFollow safety procedures and quality standards-comparable to military safety, QA, and compliance practicesTravel to customer locations as required (25-50%)Primary Objectives:Build a strong foundation in commercial calibration practicesTransition military technical skills into civilian calibration competenciesDevelop the ability to perform calibrations independentlyProgress toward Calibration Technician II, which includes:Competency in at least four (4) disciplinesExpert-level proficiency in one (1) disciplineSupport and uphold The Client's Quality PolicyQualifications:Successful completion of assigned training (on-the-job, online, LMS, and classroom)Strong attention to detail-critical for compliance, safety, and accuracyAbility to follow procedures, accept feedback, and continuously improveStrong teamwork and communication skillsSelf-motivated learner with a mission-focused mindsetAbility to work independently or as part of a teamValid driver's license with 3+ years of driving experience Job 58871 Salary: Competitive Pay, Weekly Overtime available after training, 401k matching ,Full Benefits, and Company Vehicle and Fuel Card when traveling
