Aggregate Sales Representative

We are seeking a construction aggregate sales representative covering Texas and surrounding markets. Must be willing to travel within the Texas/Oklahoma area
Position Responsibilities
Responsible for marketing steel slag aggregate to various industries. Position will entail educating the market on the beneficial use of steel slag aggregate. This is a challenging position that requires a steadfast determination to achieve success. A generous bonus is available for significant success.
Position Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred. (Engineering degree a plus) But will strongly consider work experience In lieu of degree.
At least five years’ experience in construction materials sales. Aggregate, cement, asphalt, or concrete experience a plus.
Strong aggregate technical sales skills required. (Knowledge of ASTM and AASTO aggregate specifications a plus)
Strong interpersonal and communicative skills required.
Microsoft Office suite knowledge required. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM a plus.
Clean driving record required. Overnight travel less than 10%
Ability to work independently required. Entrepreneurial spirit preferred.
Ability to be flexible and face challenges with a positive attitude required.
Knowledge of LEED and sustainable construction practices a plus.
Knowledge of aggregate crushing operations a plus.
Familiarity with Texas market is a plus.
