Security Guard

Job Description: This position is responsible for providing safety , security and surveillance of a condominium property, Front Desk Station and Foot Patrol as needed a few times during shift. The employee must be able to lift 10 - 25 lbs., interact with home owners and guests in a courteous and efficient manner. Must have a desire to assist and please others and provide above average customer service to all. Maintaining a professional appearance is required. Resident privacy is a priority. Also be able to multitask front desk operations, access control and owner notifications. Keeping logs and notes organized and documented in computer. Prompt arrival to work on-time is essential. Nice clean work environment. Responsibilities: - FRONT DESK / Foot patrol as needed - Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment - Protect property and assets by implementing security measures and protocols - Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems - Respond to emergencies and incidents, such as accidents or trespassing - Investigate and report any suspicious activities or incidents - Enforce rules and regulations to ensure compliance with company policies - Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and employees with inquiries or concerns Experience: - Previous experience in law enforcement, security, or a related field is preferred - Possess a valid security guard certificate or license - Proficient in conflict management techniques to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively - Knowledge of CPR and first aid procedures - Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV monitoring - Understanding of loss prevention techniques to minimize theft or damage Skills: - Strong observation skills to detect potential security threats or hazards - Excellent communication skills to interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds - Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations - Physical fitness and stamina to perform regular patrols and respond swiftly when needed Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities, experience, and skills.
