Role Details:Job Title: Embedded Software EngineerLocation: Mossville, IL (100% Onsite)Employment Type: Temporary / Contract (13 Months)Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM?? Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (No Associate Degrees).Experience: 4+ years of core Embedded C/C++ development.OS/Environment: 4+ years of embedded system development with Linux & RTOS.Core Technical Tools: GIT, CANalyzer, SQL.Hardware Integration: Strong understanding of integrating sensors, reading schematics, and analyzing component data sheets.🌟 Bonus Points For (Nice-to-Haves):Experience in robotics, remote control, or autonomy features.Familiarity with datalinks (CAN, Ethernet) and diagnostics (CANape, Wireshark).Experience with ROS or the Qt framework for UI development.Prior experience with heavy machinery, automotive, agricultural, or industrial off-highway applications.💼 Key Responsibilities:Design and implement embedded software from requirements through to production.Develop automation & autonomy features for real-time control systems.Perform system triage, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.Collaborate closely with systems, software, and validation teams to execute full software lifecycles.Know someone who fits this profile?
