This role involves physically demanding, hands-on work in outdoor environments and requires a high level of reliability, teamwork, and willingness to travel extensively.This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in the field, take pride in craftsmanship, and are interested in growing within the sports construction industry.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with the installation of synthetic turf, running tracks, and indoor sports flooring systemsPerform site preparation, material handling, and general labor tasksMeasure, cut, seam, and secure turf materials to project specificationsOperate hand tools and equipment safely and efficientlyLoad, unload, and transport materials and equipmentMaintain a clean and organized job siteFollow all company safety protocols and project requirementsWork collaboratively with crew members and project leadership to meet deadlinesQualificationsPrior construction, flooring, or turf installation experience preferred, but not requiredAbility to perform strenuous physical labor, including lifting, carrying, bending, and working in outdoor conditionsWillingness to travel frequently and stay out of town for extended periodsValid driver’s license requiredMust be authorized to work in the United StatesMust be willing to submit to a background check and pre-employment drug screenTravel & Work ConditionsFrequent and extended travel required; majority of projects located throughout the Midwest U.S.Company-paid hotel accommodations provided$20/day per diem providedWork is performed outdoors in varying weather conditions and around construction equipmentCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly pay based on experience ($20–$45/hour)Medical, dental, and vision insurance effective the first of the month following 30 days of employmentPaid holidays and paid time off401(k) eligibility effective the first of the month following 90 days of employment, with immediate vestingNote: Eligibility for Chicago Carpenter’s Union Health & Welfare benefits may apply in certain cases and could supersede standard company benefit offerings.Equal Employment OpportunityMWSTS, a TenCate company, is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
