Ensure root cause analyses methodology is followed and corrective actions are completed in a timely fashionCommunicate lessons learned of QA/QC non-conformities to Engineering for implementation into the design and future best practicesInterpret code issues for design, fabrication, inspection, and testing of piping, pressure vessels, and weldingCollaborate closely with the Materials Technology and Codes Engineer in the review and / or recommendation of changes of material due to availability or ASTM deviations for active projects and spare parts ordersYou will also lead the supplier inspection process and develop Project Inspection Plans and coordinate external inspection resourcesProvide technical support during Inspection visits of purchased equipment for compliance with project specifications templates, and tools required for QA/QC Engineering and Supplier Inspections, within the SLNA Quality Management System What Makes You GreatYou have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical or Welding Engineering, or equivalent experienceMinimum of ten years of experience in Petrochemicals / Industrial Gases in the area of QA/QC application, or any comparable related work experienceYou will also have extensive knowledge and experience in design, fabrication, inspection, and testing of international Codes and Standards, in particular ASME, ASTM, API, ASNTKnowledge of NDE/NDT, and QA/QC process standards and techniquesKnowledge of welding and metallurgy; AWS CWI endorsement is preferredAdditionally you will have current or previous certification in NDE level II (VT, PT, MT, UT, RT) and/or API certifications (510, 570, SIFE, SIRE)Working knowledge of fabrication, construction, and assembly of plant components; and fired capital equipmentCost responsibility and basic knowledge about bid verificationWhy you will love working with usLinde Engineering Americas (LEA) is a member of the Linde Engineering Division of Linde plc.
