The successful candidate will be tasked with leading global supplier strategy, procurement, and cost leadership, with a focus on strengthening supplier relationships, improving margin performance, and supporting new product development initiatives. This high-impact executive leadership role requires a hands-on, Asia-experienced sourcing executive with a strong background in hardware or durable goods and a proven track record in managing OEM/ODM factory relationships. Key responsibilities for the VP of Global Sourcing and Supply Chain include leading sourcing and supplier relationship management across China and Vietnam, identifying and onboarding new manufacturing partners, and executing country diversification and risk mitigation strategies. The role also involves driving annual cost reduction initiatives, negotiating contracts with overseas factories, and improving gross margin through disciplined supplier management. The ideal candidate will have 12-20 years of global sourcing and supply chain experience, deep supplier relationships in China, and a strong preference for those with Vietnam sourcing experience.
