Junior Academy Assistant(Indiana) CampusMonday - FridayQualificationsThe candidate shall possess characteristics that reflect:A strong clear Christian testimony with a mature and godly spiritA daily example of the highest Christian virtue both in and out of schoolCommitment to faithful attendance and support of a church whose beliefs are in agreement with the Statement of Faith for Christian Academy School SystemAgreement and belief that The Bible is the final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankindAccountabilities / ResponsibilitiesBe under the general supervision of the Junior Academy Assistant Director, and Site Director and is to cooperate in a loyal and efficient mannerWill be responsible for assisting the classroom teacherShall care for and treat each child with dignity and respectShall assist the children in getting prepared to leave in the afternoonShall assist the classroom teacher when needed for the following: break, gathering of supplies/materials, emergency situation involving a childShall keep the classroom properly stocked with paper goods needed for snack and lunchShall help in preparation of necessary materials for lessons/activitiesShall be substitute teacher when asked by Preschool Site DirectorShall attend and participate in all Preschool staff meetingsShall participate in recommended training programs, workshops, courses, and other aspect so professional growth as needed in order to maintain corticationShall attend and participate in the Annual Orientation, Annual Open House, programs and other events sponsored by CAI PreschoolShall assure each child he/she is loved, that they have value, that God made them special (II Tim. 2:15) and will pray for each teacher and student dailyRequirementsExperience working with children (preferred but not required)The candidate shall prior to start date provide/successfully complete the following:TB TestCPR & First Aid TrainingCriminal Records Check
