Supervise respective gauges verification and calibration within assigned area(s). Investigate, resolve, and as needed provide recommendations to continually improve quality.Apply online or text plantjobs to 678-931-7826 to begin your pre-screening process!Responsibilities / AuthoritiesSupervise all quality control inspectors including coordination and scheduling of quality auditors to ensure adequate audit coverage is met for facilityAbility to conduct inspection on material(s)/product(s) per company control plan, record results, investigate and take appropriate actionCover Quality Control Inspectors as needed with ability to perform quality control audits ensuring operator checks and tests are performed during the manufacturing of the productsFollow-up on Quality Actions as assigned and associated with warranty, customer, NFTT/HRD, and scrapOversee and supervise all activities involving quality assurance and compliance with applicable regulatory and company requirements; conducts audits and reviews/analyzes data and documentation, oversee audits on materials and products throughout receiving, metals, oxide, pasting, and curing/drying departments to ensure adherence to established Stryten and customer standards in qualityResponsible to ensure the respective department equipment used for in-process checks are within calibration / verification and are conforming to standard requirements Coordinate with Laboratory on department gauges in adherence with our calibration/verification scheduleBe available to work flexible shifts to ensure supervision and support is conducted available on shiftsSupervise daily activities/issues that arise including hold tag(s) for respective area(s)Hazardous waste training shall be provided to the employee within six months of the date the employee filled this position and a review of this training provided every 12 months thereafter. The employee will complete a program of classroom instruction. The employee shall be supervised until training is completed. The training shall consist of a review of proper management of hazardous waste, satellite accumulation containers, how to review and prepare a hazardous waste manifest, and proper labeling requirements. Perform other work as assigned by Management including 5S cleaningAttend all meetings and training as scheduledUndertake assigned projects as directed by Plant or Department ManagerEducation, Experience, Skills RequiredBachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent years of experience in the Quality Field in manufacturingDemonstrated leadership skills in a Manufacturing setting.Solid skills with Excel.Bilingual (English-Spanish) a plusPhysical RequirementsCapable of climbing ladders and stairsMust be able to wear respirator and any other required PPEWill be exposed to extreme environmental conditions (hot, cold, humid)Occasional lifting from grams up to 50 poundsEquipment UsedExcellent computer and knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook.Experience in the use and understanding of various measurement and testing instruments/equipment that are used in departments for operator / auditor checksPersonal protective equipment as required
