If you’re passionate about electrical engineering and eager to grow your expertise in a fast-paced environment, this role is perfect for you! *Responsibilities* * Assist in designing and developing electrical systems, including schematic creation and circuit design using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks * Support PCB layout and fabrication processes, including surface mount technology (SMT) assembly and soldering techniques * Contribute to FPGA programming and simulation using SystemVerilog, MATLAB, Simulink, or C++ for control systems and signal processing applications * Participate in debugging and troubleshooting electrical circuits and systems through root cause analysis and testing with tools like oscilloscopes, ohmmeters, and logic analyzers * Aid in system development verification by performing testing protocols aligned with industry standards such as NEC (National Electrical Code) and NFPA 70 compliance * Collaborate on automation projects involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), microcontrollers like Arduino or ARM-based systems, and industrial automation equipment * Document design processes, create electrical schematics, and assist in preparing technical reports for project milestones *Skills* * Strong foundation in electrical engineering principles including circuit design, electrical system design, and electronics troubleshooting * Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks) for schematic diagrams and system modeling * Experience with FPGA development, SystemVerilog, MATLAB/Simulink modeling, and programming languages such as Python or C++ for system control and automation tasks * Knowledge of PCB design, manufacturing processes, surface mount technology (SMT), and soldering techniques * Familiarity with electrical codes (NEC), NFPA 70 standards, and safety practices related to electrical building codes * Ability to perform root cause analysis using diagnostic tools like oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal processing equipment; experience with debugging complex systems preferred * Hands-on experience with industrial automation components such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs), ARM microcontrollers, Arduino platforms, vision inspection systems or vision sensors * Strong communication skills for collaborating within multidisciplinary teams; ability to document technical work clearly and accurately This paid internship is designed to empower aspiring electrical engineers by providing meaningful project involvement while fostering professional growth.
