Senior Software Engineer – Champaign, IL – Up to $350K Base (DOE) Associate Consultant at Saragossa – creating competitive advantage for investment technology organizations. Do you want to get your foot in the door at a Hedge Fund? You'll be working for a software consultancy engaged to build software for a global Hedge Fund – including the front office trading teams. Overview We're building a new team that works directly with the CTO. The CTO is already established in the UK and we are launching the US expansion. With a goal of 20 staff by the end of the year, you'll be an early member of the team and influence future directions. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain high-performance trading systems in Java. Collaborate with front-office traders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Participate in code review, performance tuning, and best-practice implementation. Help scale the operation to support 20 staff by the end of the year and influence future directions. Qualifications Mid-Senior level with solid Java experience in a complex environment. Experience with Calypso or similar front-office trading platforms is a plus but not required. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Self-motivated and comfortable in an early-stage, growth-stage environment.
